Homecare - Irregular Pigmentation

There are two types of irregular pigmentation. Hyper pigmentation which is a darkening of the skin and hypo pigmentation which is an excessive lightening of the skin. Hypo pigmentation is a lack of pigment or melanin (vitiligo), and hyper pigmentation is excessive melanin shown as freckles, the mask of pregnancy and age spots. If you have hypo pigmentation, there is no treatment available for this, cosmetic cover up (make up) is the only answer.
Examples of hyper pigmentation include freckles, age spots and chloasma (the mask of pregnancy)
Important note: It is imperative that you follow our recommendation if you are to see results, once you have hyper pigmentation you must avoid any sun exposure and use a good SPF 30 every day.

HYDRATE. The skin’s internal moisturizing system contains oils (lipids) that hold water (moisture) between the skin cells. Both are needed to restore moisture and keep skin soft, flexible and firm. Without such a balance, the beauty of the skin is impaired. Within our duo-moisture system, the Gels replenish the skin with needed moisture (water) while the creams hold the moisture in. Each of our Gels and Creams are specifically formulated for each skin type, giving just the right balance to the skin. Apply 1-2 pumps to the face, neck and decollette.
·         Moisture Seal Gel
MOISTURISE. Apply the recommended moisturiser. Moisturising locks moisture and any treatment products in to the skin increasing hydration levels and protecting the skins barrier. Apply to the face, neck and decollette and gently massage in to the skin.

PROTECT. (Morning Only) It is imperative that you use a good sunscreen every day to protect the skin from the irritating and ageing effects of UV rays. Apply a small amount of sunscreen to the face, neck and decollette on top of the moisturiser. FACT -50% of the UVA rays (Ageing rays) can penetrate through cloud, glass and clothing. This is why sunscreen is important all year round.
